Neferi Chajit - Post 6.3 Vampiric Malkavian Neko Grrrrrl
[The Herald's staff has just expanded with the addition of Bunny Brickworks, who will be joining our other photographers to produce what we hope will be more frequent Post 6 features. Welcome Bunny! - the Editrix]
The thing about Neferi's avi that struck me first was her shape, not the ordinary SL gazelle but a busty babe with just the right amount of curves and a height that's perfectly normal in RL but almost seems childlike for SL avis. And not one of the Neko fulldressers either - one of those kitties shopping a complete outfit in a store and slapping some ears and tail on it - but a mix and match of clothes and accessories that give her this unique mischief maker look. During our conversation she showed her sharp mind, humor and tongue - the purrrrfect Post 6.3 Grrrrl. Here's the story behind her avi:
I guess a good place to start about myself would be my name: Neferi Chajit. I pulled it from the Mistress of the Nile herself, Nefertiti, and the last name reminded me of "Khajiit" which are cat people in the popular Elder Scrolls series. I found both fitting for a Malkavian Neko such as myself. Nefertiti was arguably one of the most, if not the ultimate, beautiful women that ever graced this place called Earth. Taking such pride in her name, I do my best to carry on such beauty and unique quality as she once did.
This said, I would by no means say I do it by the rule book or norm as I believe many try for. Unlike most of the Amazonian barbies in SL, my Avatar is merely 5'4" tall with a pale complexion and busty curves. Such things require one as myself to learn how to modify many of the things I wear and also limit me to certain things I can wear in SL (due to size warps and such). Regardless, I firmly believe my "style", if you wish to call it that, is as outspoken as I am. I enjoy looking like the kind of girl you might not want your parents meeting.
If you asked me what my favorite outfit I owned was, I wouldn't be able to tell you. I guess it changes depending on my mood, depending where I am or what I am doing. My clothes are an outside mirror to myself for the world to see. I wear things I think look nice, I wear things that promote what I enjoy in life. I suppose this is where my RL carries over into my SL, as my style is also much the same IRL. No matter what I am wearing, there is always some degree of attitude carried with each outfit that I believe helps me stand out no matter where I am.
My SL character is a vampiric Malkavian neko, and this is about 99% of the time unless under special conditions. Until recently, I spent most of my time in the game alone, building and decorating, which is a very lonely thing to do in a social game. Finally I decided to break out and share myself with the rest of Second Life, which thus far has been a huge success. My favorite things to do in SL are dancing and simply finding "chill" places to hang out. I don't really enjoy gesture spammed clubs with tons of lag that is heavier than my eyeliner. As a matter of fact, I am hopping to possibly make dancing or owning some sort of hang out as a future career change in SL rather than constantly building and possibly making it a side job.
Of course I enjoy shopping as much as the next crazy kitten out there, but sadly I wouldn't have any advice to give anyone on where to shop. I make or mod a lot of the things I own, and me having been stuck in the dark so long building, there's many places I've not shopped at that I probably should have. Perhaps my lack of main-stream stores has helped my image however, and possibly allowed me to mix and match dozens of outfits to make one hell of a nice looking Picasso of an Avatar.

I love how you say your avatar is 'merely 5"4' - as in 'merely' average female height in the real world. How sad SL must be when it has you using 'merely' in regards to a completely average stature. Still, you win a cookie for not being eight feet tall.
However, your cookie is revoked for not looking nearly crazy enough to call yourself a Malkavian.
Perhaps you should style yourself as a Toreador.

Fluffy tails remind me of horses. Not a good look on Nekos. Apart from that... "Carry on"

Wow, after a long time of boredom, finally there is a light. Great job Bunny and a great girl you selected. Go on with this. Woot! The piczures are just awesome and the vitae is full of humour, wonderfully written and a joy to read. Together with these pictures it is amazing. Thank you for this masterpiece of entertainment and the smile on my face.

I'm happy to see this got posted and was so surprised when I was randomly asked to do this. I enjoy all the comments I see and I love what Bunny had to say about me. It was hard picking out 3 outfits, but I think all of these fit wonderfully for Grrrl. I hope to see this posting blog blossom with more unique people out there in SL, and Bunny to keep up her good work and keen eye!

Brava! Now this is more like it!! She's a sexeh avi.
But I do have to ask; it's always freaked me out...what is this thing going on with the face mask? Is this some sort of futuristic "this is how we avoid the bird flu" look? Not attractive....no, not at all.
Posted by: MoxZ | June 10, 2008 at 04:37 PM
Oh I was worried about seeing a Penis attached to her stomach. Looks good though. *pets her fluffy tail*
Posted by: Aya Pelous | June 10, 2008 at 06:15 PM
Looks a ton better than previous photos. Looks like you have a keeper - plz dump whomever the other photographer is. His/Her photos are awful.

WUT A SLUT
Posted by: SPACETARD | June 10, 2008 at 07:44 PM
@ MoxZ : "what is this thing going on with the face mask? "
My 2 guesses: It's a post-apocolyptic look and very popular in the SL Wastelands. Supposedly, our future will bring a wide possibilty of of airborne ills (smog, biological warfare..etc.) Search "Wastelands" for cool places in SL that exhibit these styles of builds and people.
OR
She is a "tagger" and needs the gas mask to breath easy when spray painting her tag or graffiti in SL. Note the can of paint on her belt.
Either way, this chick's style kicks some ass. Nicely done.

this is how you do this
much better than dickgirl's version, i think
Posted by: anon | June 10, 2008 at 08:35 PM
Very. Nice. Nekopire. Indeed.
*Swallows hard and asks for your phone number*
And - a wonderful photography job, Bunny - finally we have fully rezzed three dimensional looking avs on Post 6. I look forward to more of your work.

OK, time to come out of my secret hiding place :) Wow, that is an unexpectedly warm welcome. Thanks for all the nice comments, they are more than appreciated. Of course, I have to thank Neferi first cause she was the perfect choice as it seems now. And Pixeleen for giving me the chance to try my luck here.
@ Nate: Thanks for the praise :)
@ Aya: LOL, you won't see any prim-penis-pics from me, not even on a male avi cause they mostly look kinda weird.
@ Razrcut: Good eye! Yes, she's a graffiti sprayer!
@ Winter: I hope I won't disappoint you with my future work. I think the greatest part of this job was the model itself, she made taking pics very easy.
I was really scared about the usuall trolling *waves at SPACETARD* but you people made my start pretty smooth, so thank you!
Posted by: Bunny Brickworks | June 10, 2008 at 11:38 PM
@ anon : "your momma!.." see? see how silly I look spouting off a random insult at you.. ie. my "your momma" comment... It is juvenile , huh.
I am being juvenile by throwing down random acts of hate in a blog. Look at me everyone, I love the immaturity level I have stooped to by tossing out nonsensical random insults at strangers via the interwebs....
Posted by: Razrcut Brooks | June 11, 2008 at 12:03 AM
Very nice indeed. I like your style, Neferi.
Great job, Bunny.
Posted by: KyuubiD | June 11, 2008 at 09:28 AM
/me thinks theres some peoples here pretending to be not Bunny but who in fact is Bunny blowing smoke up her own ass.
These pix = mediocre at best.
Nudity=not
and yet...luvfest in the comment board.
This don't make no sense.
Where is that crazy bitch who wants nude models?
Where is the gimp who says all the pix suck so he can have the job?
This don't make no sense.
Posted by: SmellsaRat | June 11, 2008 at 05:19 PM
your skepticism isn't really warranted. this is probably one of the best ones of these that have been printed, it's well written and the image quality is pretty good. it's also a welcome change from the last one.
Posted by: anon | June 11, 2008 at 08:18 PM
I'm impressed for once.
That scares me.
Posted by: Anon | June 11, 2008 at 09:46 PM
That's fine Anon, you scare most of us with the fact that your idiot self somehow still escapes natural selection.
As for the dickgirl thing? Please, it's old. You've been using it half a year, get some new material or go home, this is the Herald, we expect better idiocy from our trolls, you're just depressingly fail.
Bunny's pics are aesome, but mine aren't bad. Just different. If Bunny wants Post 6 and the bullshit abuse for abuses sake that comes with it, she can have it. I'll go back to writing.
Just a heads up Bunny; You WILL get shit on here no matter how good you are. It's the nature of the beast. 99% of those who abuse you here though hon, will be like Anon; shallow, introverted losers with no lives and no friends except for other shallow introverted losers, who don't actually hate you and your work, but will constantly assail you verbally claiming they do solely to get a rise out of you so they can have some "lulz" at your expense, because apparently, getting a chuckle by irritating complete strangers online anonymously without any fear of getting their ass kicked as would happen if they did so in real life is the ONLY way these sad twits can get any enjoyment out of life. It gives them the frail illusion of being powerful and important.
Good luck with Post 6.3 hon, I hand it off happily. And nice job.
Posted by: Purrrple | June 12, 2008 at 02:13 AM
>I'll go back to writing.
please don't, we were all happy when you said you stormed out in a huff saying you were LEAVING THE INTERNET FOREVER.
Posted by: anon | June 12, 2008 at 11:13 AM
Thank you Penance, I truly appreciate your 'heads up'. Before this article was published, I had already braced myself for impact and I was almost disappointed about the more than smooth entry I had here. I do not expect it will stay like this. This first one was a lucky strike because of the quality of my 'model' and it will be hard to keep up this level. And I do know that there are some people on the internet who always complain no matter how good my work might be - too much nudity, not enough nudity, boobies too big, boobies too small. But I won't take negative criticism too serious, I already learnt to handle stuff like that in my RL job. Thank you again for the great work you've done so far and for the 'official' hand-off.
Anon, you are scared? Hell, I am scared now because of your nice comments, it feels like being in the eye of the hurricane :)
Posted by: Bunny Brickworks | June 12, 2008 at 12:17 PM
@Penance Sautereau
"Just a heads up Bunny; You WILL get shit on here no matter how good you are. It's the nature of the beast. 99% of those who abuse you here though hon, will be like Anon"
Interestingly enough, if you notice, for the most part the "shitting on" in the last two Post 6.3 articles was directed at you Penny and not the girl being photographed which is a fairly large change. Usually the bile so to speak of these articles is in the form of criticizing or making fun of the post 6.3 girl.
But, you're a drama/grief magnet, whether you realize it or not. Because you seem to always be either on the defensive or offensive in preparation for attack, and if you get the least bit of criticism, you come back with your fists swinging and spewing insults like a sailor on shore leave who's pet parrot just got killed. It tends to set people off and make you a target.
Please stop assuming that everyone gets the same treatment that you've set yourself up to get. At worst, Bunny might get her photography skill criticized, but in all likeliness with you gone, the attacks will return to the girl in the pictures. Also please stop assuming that everyone is going to be as emotionally destroyed as you are by some insults by strangers on the internet.
This is the main reason, incidentally, why you are one of the larger targets for these people that you are referring too. Both that you often come back with these overly angry response with the slightest of jabs, and because you've proven that you can be deeply and emotionally hurt by the griefers insulting you. That's why they're called GRIEF-ers, they want you to be pissed off and sad because of what they do. And the more you publicly announce that you're pissed off and sad because of them, the more they giggle, high-five each other, and plan more ways to poke the bear and get their lulz off your responses.
So for your own sake, you really shouldn't take jobs like these or writing on the Herald, because you're really just NOT good at handling the grief that comes with it.
Posted by: Artemis Fate | June 12, 2008 at 12:34 PM
Penance obviously cannot take criticisms well. It appears that the photos were bad if enough to have people complain about the poor quality and skill. I'm not sure if I have read anything from you and If I have then I apologize to myself for reading dribble.
Your photos were not different, they were bad, and you stole a Trademark/Copyrighted photo from a NBC owned company and doctored them to put a post 6 model in them. To add insult to injury--you did a shit job at that. Hone up on some skills and try the post 6 again when you have practiced and learned what mistakes you did make during your time.
Posted by: Aya Pelous | June 12, 2008 at 12:45 PM
Bunny, seriously. Kissing the ass of an obviously inferior place-warmer who's job you're taking over for is NOT necessary. No-one takes Penance seriously here but herself.
Posted by: Blah | June 12, 2008 at 09:17 PM
Nefari is the hotness, but I'm bewildered by the cross Malkavian/Neko thing - it just ain't right. She should be the animalistic gangrel cuz it ain't pure VtM baby...and that's why she can't be Torrie either - she's not pure vamp, she's part neko.
But ya know, in here anyone can be anything that's the beauty of it. And she sure is a beauty!
Nice one!
Posted by: Pounamu Kohime | June 13, 2008 at 12:13 AM
well.
i love this model. wow. the photography is good. this is a good presentation. impressive. hats off to you bunny.
my issue with calling it post sixx is not important any more. im aware that its just my issue,so will not be dragging it onto every posting.
congratulations bunny, and i hope u stay with it.
Posted by: marilyn murphy | June 13, 2008 at 09:41 AM
Actually Blah, all evidence shows I'm the only one who DOESN'T take "me" seriously. You idiot trolls take me far TOO seriously and get your panties all in a bunch desperate to flame someone no one cares about, making yourselves look obsessed and brainless in the process.
Get a life.
Posted by: Purrrple | June 13, 2008 at 01:20 PM
Anon; Proof positive bubbles, you trolls are revisionist and retarded. I never once EVER said I was "LEAVING THE INTERNET FOREVER" or even the Herald. I said I was quitting writing here, never said I'd stop posting, and many people posted nice positive things about my writing when I did write here, proving you and the other trolls were just bleating windbags.
Speaking of.... yes Marilyn, it IS just YOUR issue, so if you're not going to "bring it up every post" then shut up already. Your unwarranted bruised ego rant succeeded in it's self-absorbed mission. I've declined being permanent Post 6 Mistress because of YOU. Pix, who LIKES my work, wants me to contribute one every so often, and after the one I have in the can here runs I might, if I meet someone interesting, but Bunny is welcome to the permanent gig.
Get your ego in check soon Mary Mary. I'm handing off out of the last lingering shred of respect I have for you, in spite of you proving you don't deserve even that from me.
Posted by: Purrrple | June 13, 2008 at 01:26 PM
Oh and stuff it Artemis. You exxagerate horrendously, even though I know I'm a grief magnet,. but not because I set myself up to be. I just rub smug pompous idiots the wrong way.
Posted by: Purrrple | June 13, 2008 at 01:30 PM
>and many people posted nice positive things about my writing when I did write here, proving you and the other trolls were just bleating windbags
"many people" == you
>You exxagerate horrendously, even though I know I'm a grief magnet,. but not because I set myself up to be. I just rub smug pompous idiots the wrong way.
i'm sure you beat all the trolls at their own game by spewing out paragraphs of whining every time someone insulted you. clearly, the way to beat those nasty griefers is to fill fifteen pages with the same point repeated over and over, that's how Prok did it right?
Posted by: anon | June 13, 2008 at 09:08 PM
@Penance
"I just rub smug pompous idiots the wrong way."
So this is the "In my mind, i'm a winner! In my mind, everything is perfect and beautiful!" delusional part? You're not rubbing them the wrong way, infact, you're rubbing them the right way. In metaphorical terms, you're giving each and every troll you respond to a free hand-job. They LOVE it. You're giving them exactly what they want, they want you to get whiny and emotional due to their actions, so they can giggle it up and point it out to their friends, who then also come and also troll you. You see what happens here? The reason why you have so many trolls and griefers on you then anyone else around here? It's because in terms of lulz, you're an all night buffet, and until you realize that and close shop, the line is going to be around the block.
But hey, since you continue posting these obvious grief-bait articles, maybe you love it too. Maybe you get some weird kind of pleasure of attention from the griefers, even if it's negative. Makes you feel like a celebrity, even if it's as a victim.
Posted by: Artemis Fate | June 13, 2008 at 09:42 PM
Thats beyond disturbing Artemis. The thought of penny giving anyone a hand-job just makes my winky shrink.
Posted by: Stephan Peck | June 14, 2008 at 02:18 PM
had to say something...you should probably read some white wolf books...you are about as malkavian as dry white toast. id be suprised if you knew what a malkavian was. dont style yourself a creature unless you actually know what it is. if you can point to one reference to "nekos" being in the world of darkness + the ability to be embraced ill give you a million dollars.
PS. if you're a vampire you dont need to breath...why the gasmask?
Posted by: foxcutter | June 14, 2008 at 05:14 PM
Finally! A Post 6 girl that doesn't end up fully naked. And a excellent model to boot. More like this!

@Foxcutter
"if you can point to one reference to "nekos" being in the world of darkness + the ability to be embraced ill give you a million dollars"
I'm not an expert on WoD, but for a time, I did get into it because of the Vampire the Masquerades: Bloodlines video game, especially the Gangrel. And I read somewhere that Gangrel who use their Protean transformation power too much may start getting bestial aspects sticking, claws, tails, etc. That could be a source of a "neko" in a WoD situation, though certainly it doesn't support her choice as clan Malkavian.
Posted by: Artemis Fate | June 14, 2008 at 10:47 PM
OMG its like watching a couple of nerds fighting over wether to use a 1D20 or a 1D16 to roll a save.
the fun of SL? Being the fuck what you want even if it's not possible in the real world. Ya know, like a neko... dont got those IRL. Nor vampires. So who the fuck would care if there can exist such a thing as a neko vampire or not?
PS. In SL noone needs to breath, geniouses.

Bunny, I have never read any previous articles but I think you did a great job. The pics are awesome and the article is witty and interesting. I say GREAT JOB and stick with it =)
