Slexchange Forum Tries To Copy Herald – Becomes Giant Drama Pump

Desperate for more page hits, the venerable SLEXChange forum decided that inciting RL factionalism is the best way to… increase sales? That must be what is going on – as an international group of merchants talk smack on each other’s RL countries for no less than 16 pages. So much for the metaverse fostering universal understanding and harmony.
Normally we wouldn’t get too excited about this sort of thing – it sounds like a normal day here at the Herald, but the Slexchange forum moderators seem to be swinging the ban stick in a rather selective fashion.
As best we can discern, the Slexchange “respect policy” would theoretically keep this sort of situation from getting out of hand – but there appears to have been an ongoing problem with selective enforcement of the policy – something like the situation with Linden Lab in Second Life. We are starting to think that corrupt game and forum moderators are a universal constant — except here at the Herald where this has never been a problem.
But over at the Slexchange forums this is a problem as one of our new advertisers and a Slexchange merchant – Mr. Adromor Wierwight – was banned from the forums for his vigorous defense of the USA. So we ask, why is it that there is ALWAYS someone hate mongering and generalizing about other people – categorizing and judging others, insulting them mercilessly?
It was obvious that many members of the forum were upset by this behavior, yet other members were allowed to continue to talk trash without repercussions. If you want that sort of thing – come to the Herald. We suggest you stick to selling virtual good over at Slexchange and leave the drama to the professionals.
Unfortunately, intolerance breeds intolerance and the cycle continues and grows as long as some individuals are still willing to feed it. Will Slexchange admins step in to curb the racial, and national tensions or will they continue to sit and watch idly while their forums are ripped apart by individuals that idolize Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte? Don’t we get enough of that at the Herald already? What is happening to the world we live in today where no one is willing to listen to reason and like animals, people ruthlessly attack one another?
Slexchange admins, we call on you to step in and deal with the situation – or at least stop banning our advertisers. Trust us, you will never beat the Herald in a race to the gutter, so don’t even try. Clean up your act.

I am going to start a group centering around this stuff in SL so that we can organize protests against slexchange and people like montana. Anyone interested in joining and engaging in a bit of activism can IM Adromor Wierwight in world. It’s going to take a lot of work to change unfair policies at places like slx but if enough of us are tired enough of it we can affect change. I even invite individuals such as Ethan Gregg to join who feel the way I do but believe in handling it in a different way.

Administrators on slx are still allowing people to refer to adromor as ‘idiot’ plus people are continuing to trash talk him after they banned him when he is unable to defend himself. I don’t see how there can be any more blatant proof of that is going on there than that.

Also there is a rumor that the PN has already been on slex wreaking some havoc. I have an american friend who was just banned for saying that she agreed with them in a thread made by a guy who registered as ‘Captainamerica’ entitled ‘AMERICA, FUCK YEAH!’ which had a bunch of funny nonsense in there from a song from the movie called Team America: World Police. It was actually pretty comical as using the f-word on those forums is an instant ban and seeing someone register just to violate the tos so blatantly was refreshing. Someone even said something to the effect of ‘Captainamerica for president’ lol. I myself have alot of issue with the forum so its nice to see some one doing something about all the injustices there.

I have been around SLX for a long time however I am done with these people in their forums and purchasing from there. Sami Tabla is a trader to America is far as I am concerned. He claims to be a vet yet continues to allow the trashing of America from Montana Corleone and others. SLX seems to have a unposted policy that allows for the trashing of America and the banning for people who stand up for this great country.
People like Sami Tabla should be tossed from American boarders. I call on all Americans to no longer use SLX in any way, shape or form. You are using the 20/20 vision of hindsight here. Back in 2001, every intelligence service that knew anything about Iraq was absolutely convinced that Saddam had WMD. The failure (so far) to find WMD doesn’t mean they never existed. There is plenty of evidence that the WMD were removed from Iraq after the UN weapons inspectors withdrew but before the Coalition invaded.

I agree after telling the Truth in the Forum of SLEX the Thread with Anshe Chung got deleted and Merchants most Americans Banned. That SLEX never could take the Truth isn’t new. Joe, IM me in game. Name is Adromor Wierwight. I totally share your views and we could use someone like you. We just got the support from a CEO of one of SL’s larger companies who owns a few dozen sims which Montana has just been banned from. Most supporters are not joining the group because they want to remain largely hidden because Anshe Chung has a group called SLAM that griefs anyone who tries to stand up to her, and Angel Fluffy also has been known to go after people who stand up to her. SLEX is 40 percent owned by ACS so we are fighting ACS in part too. I have a few solutions for a few of our short term problems and some strategies to get the word out….we just need as many people as we can get.

Include copies of statements made in their forums before their “staff” does another sweep and delete. Well, tg for the silence of Montana, but wth is wrong with Otoole. No way in hell will LL hire someone like her after her constant belittling of the LL staff(she seems to be campaigning for a job). I would guess that she has been fired from many jobs already with that holier and smarter than thou dictator attitude.
I can’t believe that the merchants on SLX post those comments about LL and SL. Why isn’t that shit posted in the “problems with SL”? Why post it in general to make it easy for the customers to read. Can you say IDIOTS? Did any of the posters ever consider that they are also ruining business for the other merchants that have some marketing experience and common sense?

Anne Otoole and the other forum copy paster Montana Corleone think they have respect due to the insane number of copy pasted comments/replies which they think makes them look inteligent. When infact 90 percent of the slx forums actually laugh at them. But because they have imunity because sami or tigress likes them for some unknown reason people are scared to lose there accounts.
Anne Otoole in most peoples eyes is just that. A tool. she makes out she is a big huge bank of knowledge with a resume to match that of a god. Although she seems to be only on slx forums over 12 hours a day, makes terrible capes (lol) and has a shop with 120 traffic on a good day, and she gives advice on traffic and marketing and every single post is a moan or complaint towards ll. maybe they should put her out of her misery and ours and ban her.
Montana corleone. another self made slx/sl god who makes T-SHIRTS with stolen album art images with even less traffic who is (read back through past posts) a bio chemist, AN rl photogragher (who steals album art to place on tshirts) a photoshop specialist ( who steals ablum art to place on t-shirts) And a host of other major jobs. who also lurks every waking moment on slx…….
Maybe if these 2 were removd from slx along with the FRIENDS of sami clique. (who also has row upon row of stolen art on the isle of sami 12 of never.) then it might be once again a nice place.
Hopefully slx will get left behind with the new wave of sl updates.

I would say that by the steep decline in the number of viewers online that SLX is screwed. They got rid of Montana way too late, and letting Otoole constantly bash LL and SL is running off what few are left. Merchants are sick of it. Ownership of SLX by Anshe doesn’t much help matters either, who wants to sell on there and line her pockets? Hell, who wants to BUY on there and line her pockets?!?!?!?! And why buy from SLX, compare the prices of the same items by the same merchants on OnRez, they are cheaper there because SLX charges to list so the merchants mark their items up to compensate.
Looks like soon all that will be left on SLX is Sami and Apotheus’s ass licker group.
The SLX ass lickers only post on there because they can’t post on the SL forums. They either can’t access it because they are banned, or they are NPIOFs.
